In 1974, we started a concrete construction business. By 1983 we had begun to develop into a swimming pool business with our first retail location in Wilmington. By 1989, we decided to service the people of Morris and opened for business that summer. By then we were totally out of the concrete business and we were building in-ground pools, while supplying chemicals, parts, and services to the area. With the help of our family and everyone that worked with us, our business grew. In July of 1992, DesRochers Backyard Pools, Inc. was formed and by 1998 we opened our third store in Shorewood, Illinois.
